What is Omikuji Gacha?
Gacha is a capsule toy machine that is commonly seen in Japan. When you put money into it and turn the handle, a toy in a capsule comes out.
Recently in Japan, there are various types of Gacha for kids and adults.
You can see them everywhere in urban cities and sightseeing spots. Each of toys is unique and wonderful.
Our Gacha's special feature is that it consists of only Japanese traditional toys and small articles. Each toy has its description in 4 languages, which explains its meaning and how to use it.
For example, "Maneki-neko" is a pretty popular mascot in Japan, but it has different meanings depending on its right hand up or left hand up. We want people from/in different countries to not only say "Kawaii! (Cute!)" but also enjoy Japanese items including their meanings and how to use them.
Also, the greatest feature of our Gacha is that it comes with Omikuji, which means you can draw Omikuji at the same time as getting a toy. You should be ready to see what fortune you have. Please enjoy our unique and special Omikuji Gacha!
Recommended places to put Omikuji Gacha
You can put Omikuji Gacha at a sushi restaurant, izakaya, café, Japanese anime shop, arcade, bookstore, variety shop, or souvenir shop in a temple/shrine, etc.It also plays a great role in a big event, such as Anime Expo.
Do we need Japanese coins?
Our Gacha accepts only tokens. For example, if you work at a Japanese restaurant, you can give some tokens to the customer when they pay. If you work in a souvenir shop, you can sell tokens and let the customers use the Gacha.
Is it easy to collect used tokens and refill the capsules?
Our Gacha's top board is just fixed with a screw. You can take it off easily when you unscrew it, and collect used tokens at the same time. However, please keep in mind that you should not tighten the screw too much. That can break the screw, and the top board will not close.
Including such an important point, we will send the manual written in English (PDF) to you after your purchase.
What is the content of Omikuji Gacha?
The items are Japanese traditional miniature toys such as Akabeko, and Japanese-style keychains and netsuke (accessories tied to straps). There are 9 items for now, but we are going to increase the variety in the near future.
We want people from/in different countries to enjoy Japanese culture through Omikuji Gacha, so the items will be something unique to Japan.
